Line Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a Line Operator to join our team in a manufacturing facility. The Line Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery on the assembly line to fabricate and assemble products efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Operate machinery on the line according to production guidelines

- Perform regular quality checks on products

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

- Monitor product and packaging quality to assure company and customer standards are met.

- Make all necessary machine adjustments to consistently produce zippered products and within quality specifications at or above productivity targets.

- Ensure proper winder set-up and operation to wind products per specifications.

- Perform efficient set-ups, changeovers, and start-ups.

- Coordinate / communicate troubleshooting efforts with team members, supervision, quality assurance, and maintenance.

- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required.

- Always maintain appropriate levels of correct materials on the line.

- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all materials, raw, WIP, and finished goods.

- Perform all quality checks and operate testing equipment per procedure.

- Complete all necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements

- Mechanical knowledge to operate various types of machinery

- Experience with power tools and hand tools

- Ability to use forklifts for material handling tasks

- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting production goals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
