Line Cook

About us

Sonata is a restaurant and lounge located within the Duke Energy Center for the Arts - Mahaffey Theater in downtown St. Petersburg. We are looking for part-time Line Cooks for the current season. The restaurant is open on show days only. Shifts are primarily afternoons and evenings and will include weekends.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

- Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety guidelines

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week
