Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic, highly detail-oriented Lead Residential Maintenance, Projects & Fleet Manager to oversee our personal family residences and rental property portfolio. This individual will lead and directly support residential construction, maintenance, and small project execution, ensuring the safety, functionality, and operational efficiency of our single-family homes. The role carries significant hands-on responsibility, with the expectation that the manager will personally perform minor repairs, troubleshooting, and small projects, in addition to coordinating vendors and supervising field work. All residential systems—including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general upkeep—must be maintained to a high standard of quality, reliability, and cost control.
This position also includes automotive and fleet maintenance oversight, including coordinating routine vehicle service, identifying and managing reputable repair shops, overseeing repairs, and ensuring vehicles remain in safe, reliable operating condition. In addition, the role involves light personal organization and errand support as needed, including receiving and organizing deliveries, arranging items, sorting recycling, and handling trash and disposal tasks.
This role requires full availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and carries a strict 24/7 on-call emergency response requirement. The manager must be able to respond promptly to urgent residential, maintenance, or vehicle-related issues at any time. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical judgment, leadership, and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset. Fluency in English is required, along with practical, hands-on experience across multiple trades and the ability and willingness to self-perform maintenance tasks, repairs, and small projects as required.
- Handle all upkeep and maintenance needs of property including upgrades and repairs of plumbing, electrical, janitorial, sanitation, lawncare, and other aspects of handyman-related work as needed.
- This also including automotive work as required, including finding best repair shop to take cars to for repair
- Includes handling personal organization or minor errand including opening delivery packages, arrange them, sorting recycling and taking out trash
- Need to free evening and weekends as must have requirements with On-Call emergency requirements.
- Self-Perform small projects as required
- Source, vet, and contract licensed sub-contractors for large complex projects, and directly oversee the quality, schedule, and completion of work
- If required, Lead and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to the highest standard of safety, quality, and efficiency across all trades.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical wiring—including 120/240 and low voltage systems—and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades and repairs, ensuring timely completion within scope and on budget.
- Conduct inspections of the property’s infrastructure, including fencing, roofing, plumbing, and electrical systems, to proactively identify issues.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and asset management to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- May need provide rides as driver for executive/family members
- Proven experience working within the Residential houses, specifically, Single-Family dwellings is required
- Experience working on and repairing cars is required
- Hands-on experience performing home repairs and handyman related work
- Needs to be organized and be able to track muptile tasks
- Experience hiring sub-contractors to complete complex jobs on time and on budget
- Extensive knowledge of residential housing management practices including HVAC, electrical (120/240, low voltage, smart home), appliance repairs, mechanical systems, and maintenance procedures.
- Hands-on experience reading schematics for permitting, ohmmeters for electrical testing, etc.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, including overseeing the work of sub-contractors.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
