Position: Building Grounds Maintenance Manager

Position Summary: The Building Grounds Maintenance Manager is responsible to ensure the entire property is looking its best while being clean and everything functioning properly. This consists of landscape, scheduled maintenance, parking lot, lighting, painting, signage, etc.

Required Qualifications:

- Ability to communicate professionally with guests and co-workers.

- Ability to read, county, and write accurately to complete all documentation.

- Ability to freely access all areas of the store.

- Ability to follow written instructions.

- Ability to operate, use and properly care for all store equipment.

- Ability to lift, handle or move merchandise through the store generally weighing 0-50lbs.

- Ability to work varied hours/days.

- Ability to work as a team and independently with minimal supervision, self-motivated.

- At least 18 years of age.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making and judgement skills.

- Ability to be adaptable and flexible.

- Ability to lead and motivate others.

- Work with vendor to obtain yearly contracts for snow and landscaping.

- Work with store manager to create a weekly "punch list" for needed repairs.

- Work with vendors to get repair estimates, approvals, work completed and approve final billing.

- Work with vendor to ensure scheduled maintenance of equipment is getting done timely.

- Fire alarms, fire extinguishers, car wash equipment, heating & cooling, refrigeration, air compressor, etc.

- Parking lot - when needed, get at least 2 bids for repair, resurfacing and striping.

- Work with window cleaner to be done in and out 2x per year. Receive invoice and approve.

- Fourcourt - keep dispenser hoses, garbage cans, washer buckets, Armour All'd.

- Perform monthly sump and spill bucket checks. Fill out form for MPCA binder.

Desired Qualifications:

- Previous management experience preferred.

- Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

- Previous experience leading and training others.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to regularly lift 0-50lbs.

- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.

- Ability to reach overhead repeatedly.

- Ability to bend/stoop/squat frequently and occasionally for extended periods of time.

- Exposure to outside weather conditions and walk in freezers and coolers frequently.
