LAET LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR

Summary of Position:

The LAET Logistics Supervisor directly supervises the LAET Drive Team Lead and Team Haulers to ensure daily customer demands are met. The Logistics Supervisor oversees and schedules all vendor pickups and deliveries to Liberty districts. The position works directly with the processes of operations, supply chain, and production planning to ensure the proper movement of all products occurs in a timely fashion.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

- Valid US Driver’s License.

- Pilot Vehicle Certified, TWIC, and Hand Flag Certified.

- Class A CDL with Hazmat is encouraged.

- Understanding of warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, and terminology.

- Health and safety regulations.

- Basic computer skills.

- Understanding of DOT regulations and how each state differs in requirements.

- Ability to develop, maintain, and communicate a team schedule to internal and external sources is required.

- Experience with permitting, planning, and preparing for oversized load trips.

- Experience supervising a team.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Ability to communicate and comprehend the effort of others.

- Ability to think and act quickly and solve problems.

- Must be able to lift 75+ pounds and take on laborious tasks other than driving at any time during his/her on duty rotation.

- Must be able to operate diverse types of forklifts to load/unload trailers, if needed.

- Schedule the LAET Assigned Drive Team for all product pickups and deliveries.

- Works with Liberty Supply Chain and vendors to schedule all required product pickups.

- Works with Supply Chain and District Warehouse Managers to ensure district orders are filled and shipped.

- Manages all Oracle and Samsara-related requirements for the LAET Drive Team.

- Maintains all maintenance schedules for semi-tractors, trailers, and Liberty pickups.

Salary:

$70,000/YR - $95,000/YR

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
