Position Specific Description

The

Knowledge Innovation Solution Specialist

will support the development and implementation of enterprise efforts to explore and apply artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to redefine how knowledge is curated, transferred, and leveraged across business units and the organization.

This role combines the disciplines of knowledge management, AI innovation and strategy, project management, and development. The successful candidate will use their growth mindset and technical acumen to research what’s possible, and work with the guidance of BU senior leaders, to help translate enterprise knowledge and AI strategy into the design and pilot of scalable knowledge solutions. They will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to train and implement them across large scale business units.

This individual will play a critical role in driving transformationand innovation in our knowledge management space, working to translate ideas into scalable AI solutions and building enterprise-wide capability through product enablement, AI innovation, project management, and change management.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

- Assist in research, design, and pilot AI-powered knowledge management tools that enhance knowledge discovery, curation, reuse, and transfer across the enterprise.

- Partner with business units and IT to co-develop digital knowledge solutions that improve productivity, collaboration, and decision-making.

- Lead project lifecycles — from concept to implementation and post-launch optimization and impact management.

- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., large language models, automation, semantic search, generative AI) to identify opportunities for innovation in the knowledge management sector.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across functions to align solutions with enterprise strategy and user needs.

- Develop and deploy change management and training programs that build AI literacy, foster a growth mindset, and drive adoption to increase knowledge curation and enablement.

- Measure performance and impact of knowledge innovation initiatives through defined KPIs and impact based business outcomes.

- Serve as a thought leader and advisor on AI strategy, governance, and knowledge enablement best practices.


Capabilities

- Strong understanding of AI technologies, knowledge systems, and project management practices- including training and change management.

- Experience in project and product management with proven delivery of innovation or technology initiatives.

- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value through clear communication with high level stake holders.

- Demonstrated creativity, problem-solving, and experimentation mindset.

- Excellent relationship-building, facilitation, and presentation skills across diverse audiences.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive results, and lead with agility in a rapidly changing environment.


Preferred Qualifications

- Experience designing or deploying AI and automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, ChatGPT Enterprise, Gemini).

- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, metadata strategy, or semantic search.

- Technical understanding of APIs, low-code/no-code platforms, and workflow automation.

- Familiarity with innovation frameworks (e.g., design thinking, agile prototyping).

- Strong background in knowledge management, IT development, or innovation strategy.

Job Overview

Under the guidance of a lead or a leader, employees in this role are responsible for providing excellent communication support to assigned business unit as measured by completion of required planning and execution, and client feedback. Employees in this role are responsible for using business and customer insights to support the development and implementation of communication strategies and tactics to improve customer and stakeholder perception as measured by campaign results, which may include media coverage, and brand and message awareness results. Employees in this role may be expected to provide excellent media relations support as measured by media results. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong planning capabilities, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Supports development and execution of strategic communications plans, key messages, programs and campaigns to support business objectives using research/analytics. Creates visual and written content for internal and external channels (newsletters, digital and social media, video, etc.)

- Supports internal business partners on communications strategy and provides executive and communications support. Serves as liaison for assigned business units and serves as project manager for campaigns and cross-functional initiatives

- Measures results and evaluates the effectiveness of communications and tactics to drive improvements

Required Qualifications

- High School Grad / GED

- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

- Experience: 2+ years
