Job Purpose
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Junior Recruiter is responsible for supporting end-to-end full-cycle recruitment for Matrix, with a focus on supporting our Projects, Operations and Mechanical teams. In this exciting role, you will work with a multifaceted, enthusiastic, and collaborative team of professionals to fill vacancies across our operations and improve recruitment efficiencies. The Junior Recruiter will play a key role in helping attract, source and onboard top talent for our growing organization.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of recruitment experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This will be an office based role, at our office located in sunny Osoyoos, BC
. For the successful candidate, temporary staff housing and relocation assistance will be provided. Primary Duties And Responsibilities The Junior Recruiter performs a wide range of duties including some or all the following:- Action and execute directed recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Identify and source qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
- Screen resumes, schedule and conduct phone and in-person interviews, and make recommendations for candidates to hiring managers
- Manage the hiring process from start to finish, including preparing job descriptions, posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and extending job offers
- Set up and maintain all electronic hiring and employee files.
- Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide recommendations for talent acquisition
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and improve recruitment processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring
- All other related duties to the role
- Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment- CPHR designation, or working towards it, is a definite asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of employment standards and regulations related to recruitment and hiring
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed, including weekends and evenings

Benefits Compensation:$55,000- $70,000/year base salary, DOE.
