HR RECRUITER (CONTRACT)
Reports to: HR/EHS Sr. Director Location: Dalton, GA Classification: Contract, Non-Exempt Work type: Onsite or remote available
SUMMARY
The Human Resources Recruiter partners closely with the HR Sr. Director. They Provide innovative people solutions to address complex business issues including but not limited to talent development and coaching for business outcomes, organizational design, and strategic decision-making. Accountable for all components of HR including workforce planning, staffing, learning and development, compensation and reward/retention strategies, benefits, performance assessment processes, employee relations, and all other HR functional disciplines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and managing relocations program.
- Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
- Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites.
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranging travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; and arranging community tours.
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
- Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; and emphasizing benefits and perks.
- Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, and conducting training.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client, company, and personnel information.
- Keep up-to-date with employment laws and best practices, and communicate these to management regularly.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS USA Inc.
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.
- Associates Degree in Business, Marketing or Management
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant recruiting experience; both professional and hourly positions.
- Strong proficiency using and reporting using software including MS Office Suites.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Phone, Skype, and online meeting platform skills.
- Supports workplace diversity.
- Familiarity with relevant employment Law.
- Professionalism, organization, and project management skills.
- Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
- Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field in business administration preferred.
- Experience in high tech manufacturing industry and startups.
