We are seeking a motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our team. This role is essential in helping us attract and retain top talent in the coal mining industry. The ideal candidate will have strong recruiting skills, a deep understanding of the coal mining industry, and the ability to manage full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager and Coal Management to assess and determine hiring needs
- Source and attract qualified candidates using traditional and non-traditional methods including job boards, social media, networking events, career fairs, and diversity outreach
- Conduct phone screens and in person interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications, and assist in the selection process
- Maintain consistent communication with hiring managers and provide timely updates on recruitment progress
- Support the onboarding process and clearly communicate key employment information such as compensation and benefits
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- 2–5 years of recruiting experience across multiple industries
- Knowledge of coal mining operations, job roles, and industry-specific challenges is strongly preferred
- Background in manufacturing, construction, heavy industrial, or energy-related fields is a plus
- Proven success in full-cycle recruitment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking or presenting
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with various personality types
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
