About the Role:

Wolverine is seeking a skilled and motivated

IT Network Engineer – Enterprise Production

to join our team in Portage, Michigan. This role is vital to maintaining and optimizing the integrity, security, and efficiency of our enterprise network infrastructure—with a strong emphasis on

SCADA systems

. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with solid networking expertise and the willingness to work in a production-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot

Cisco routers and switches

- Manage and secure network traffic through

Palo Alto firewalls

- Administer and maintain

VMWare/ESXi

environments, including configuration and updates

- Maintain, troubleshoot, and update

Windows Server

and

Linux

systems

- Support enterprise

switching, routing, and network infrastructure

- Handle hardware deployments and troubleshooting (focus on

Dell/EMC

)

- Manage and maintain

VEEAM backup

infrastructure

- Perform routine and ad hoc

application updates

- Maintain thorough technical

documentation

- Lead and support

SCADA systems/platforms

critical to production and operations

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working with SCADA systems is

required

- Strong understanding of

enterprise networking

: switching, routing, and security

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in most of the following areas:

- Cisco networking

- Palo Alto firewall administration

- VMware/ESXi

- Windows Server and Linux environments

- Dell/EMC hardware

- VEEAM backup solutions

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability and willingness to relocate to Portage, Michigan

- Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Certifications (a plus but not required):

- Cisco (CCNA, CCNP)

- Palo Alto Networks (PCNSA, PCNSE)

- VMware (VCP)

- Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE)
