Roles and Responsibilities:
•Monitor and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, servers, routers, switches, and security systems across all operational sectors (Ship Repairs, Ship Building, and Dredging).
•Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and access control issues.
•Provide technical support for PLC-based control systems and ensure optimal functionality across multiple operational sites.
•Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLC units and Teledyne software for hydrographic surveying and dredge monitoring.
•Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and specialized software applications.
•Ensure data security through regular backups, system recovery tests, and cybersecurity protocol enforcement.
•Support staff with first-line technical assistance and conduct training on system use and cybersecurity best practices.
•Maintain IT asset inventory, licensing, user credentials, system logs, and documentation of IT procedures.
•Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data protection standards.
•Collaborate with internal departments to support operational efficiency and minimize system downtime.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
•3–5 years of experience in IT support, preferably within an industrial or maritime environment.
•Strong technical knowledge of PLC systems and hands-on experience with Teledyne PDS.
•Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
•Familiarity with IP camera systems and communication protocols is considered an asset.
