We have an immediate need for an IT Manager to join our team in Wickliffe, Ohio.
As we continue to grow and advance our technological infrastructure, this role is vital to ensuring our operations remain seamless and secure. The right candidate will be passionate about leveraging technology to drive business success and will play a key part in supporting our ongoing commitment to quality and innovation.
The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our information technology systems, ensuring the security and reliability of all digital assets, and supporting the technology needs of staff across departments. Key duties include managing network infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and coordinating with vendors for system upgrades and maintenance. This is a hands-on position with one direct report.
- Develop and implement IT policies and best practices to support company objectives.
- Lead and coordinate IT projects, including system updates, software implementations, and infrastructure improvements. Develop project plans, set timelines, allocate resources, and ensure successful delivery of technology initiatives.
- Maintain and monitor servers, networks, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Provide technical support and training to employees.
- Oversees EDI releases, coordinate with EDI VANs, and ensure accurate data import/export. Manage mapping changes and troubleshooting.
- Manage user accounts and permissions and support SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
- Conduct regular audits of IT systems and processes to ensure compliance, security and operational efficiency. Identify risks, recommend improvements, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage IT budgets, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field, along with proven experience in IT management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as well as proficiency with common enterprise systems and network administration.
- Must have experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in launching a new ERP system is also required.
