Ironworker/Welder

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ironworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welding, stick welding, and operating various hand and power tools. As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for fabricating and erecting structural steel components.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications

- Fabricate metal parts using welding techniques such as stick welding and FCAW

- Operate hand tools, power tools, cranes, and other equipment safely and efficiently

- Perform tasks such as plasma cutting, torching, and grinding as needed

- Adhere to building codes and industry standards for quality and safety

Experience:

- Proven experience as an Ironworker or similar role

- Proficiency in welding techniques including stick welding and FCAW

- Familiarity with operating hand tools, power tools, cranes, and other equipment

- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications

- Knowledge of building codes and industry standards for structural steel work

Preferred Skills:

- Certified with crane operation

- Proficiency in fabricating/welding steel components

- Knowledge of oxy/acet cutting techniques, welding, heavy equipment,

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
