Tri Steel Corp., is family owned steel service center since 1978 based in Mickleton, NJ. We are a seeking a motivated inside sales representative to help generate new business, as well as maintain existing customer relationships. We specialize in carbon steel, and seek to create value added services to help accommodate our clients in a fast manor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and have a background in steel sales and/or fabrication.
Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
•Identify sales opportunities and follow up on leads to close new business.
•Understand customer requirements and provide suitable steel product solutions.
•Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, and sales orders.
•Collaborate with internal teams including production, logistics, and customer service to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
•Ability to cold call potential customers to create new opportunities.
Experience
•Proven sales experience, preferably in steel, metals, and/or fabrication (5 years minimum).
•Strong knowledge of steel products (e.g., structural steel, sheet metal, etc.) and industry standards.
•Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field is a plus
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
•A proactive approach to upselling and identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts.
•Must be organized, capable of multitasking, and possess strong time management skills.
•Must be personable with excellent communication skills.
