Customer Service Representative & Inside Sales/Support

Soil Building Systems manufactures the highest quality organic composts, soil mixes, mulches, and specialty landscape products for the fast-growing Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. We are seeking someone to further build our reputation for top-notch customer service. This role will also participate in inside sales and sales support, and will be key to maintinaining our stellar relationships with our existing customers while helping to expand our client base.

Customer Service - 80%

ü Process customer orders over the phone, online, and in-person, and provide

world-class customer service

ü Be knowledgeable about the products

ü Provide guidance to customers to help them select the best product for their needs

ü Coordinate deliveries

ü Follow up with customers daily

ü Conduct general clerical duties and light collections as needed

Inside Sales/Support - 20%

ü Assist outside sales staff as needed

ü Build relationships with existing customers

ü Conduct outbound calls to reach targeted prospects

ü Seek and pursue bidding opportunities

ü Assist on various initiatives to promote the company

Required:

ü Prior customer service experience (3 years)

ü Ability to win people over with a positive attitude

ü Must have reliable transportation and be punctual

A strong plus:

ü Prior technical sales experience (2 years)

ü Bilingual (English/Spanish)

ü QuickBooks Desktop experience

ü Outside Sales experience

ü Excel proficiency

ü Prior purchasing or bid prospecting

Compensation:

ü Starting at $18.50 per hour, with overtime eligibility

ü Potential sales-based-related bonus

Hours:

· Monday thru Friday: Staggered shifts between 7 am - 5 pm

· Alternating Saturdays: 7 am - Noon (with possible seasonal variations)
