As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for processing customer inquiries and competitive quotes efficiently and ensuring seamless communication with the sales teams. Your role will involve managing blanket and project quotes, resolving pricing issues, tracking sales trends, and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive profitability. As a successful Inside Sales Representative, you will support order processing, collaborate with various departments, and remain available for storm-related emergencies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Handle and analyze quotation requests, coordinating with relevant teams to optimize pricing.
•Manage blanket quotation renewals with sales leadership.
•Ensure deadlines for project responses and blanket quote renewals are strictly adhered to.
•Share customer and competitive insights to inform sales strategies.
•Maintain accurate documentation of quotes and customer interactions in the company system.
•Provides technical product support, collaborating with other departments as needed.
•Develop sales contacts and perform limited selling functions.
•Track and analyze sales trends, reporting findings to management.
•Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
•Assist in the development of pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
•Review and understand contracts and agreements to help ensure compliance with customer requirements.
•Resolve pricing issues on new orders and support order processing.
•Provide backup support for Inside Sales Representatives as needed.
•Available 24/7 for storm emergencies.
•Review unusual debit, credit, and RMA requests and coordinate proper action to be taken with Inside Customer Support Specialists.
•Assist in non-routine expedites.
•Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
•Perform additional duties to ensure high-quality customer service.
Qualifications & Requirements:
•Minimum high school diploma. Specialized business education or a degree in an applicable discipline is helpful.
•Three to five years of experience in a Customer Service-related activity, including direct customer contact and development of competitive pricing.
•Proficiency with computer software, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
•Good with numbers and common-sense perspective
•Strong communication and writing skills
•Strong technical ability
