About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure across multiple sites and locations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging technology to improve productivity and support company growth.

Key Responsibilities

Network, Server, and Workstation Administration

Manage and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and workstations across multiple locations.

Ensure system security, reliability, and performance.

Software Development & Automation

Develop, test, and maintain software applications and scripts to support IT systems, automation, and operational processes.

Provide programming support for process improvement initiatives, networked applications, and system interfaces.

Troubleshoot and debug code, applications, and system performance issues.

Database & Data Management

Assist in database administration, data integrity checks, and system integration for various business and technical platforms.

Collaborate with IT, engineering, and geology departments to enhance data flow and reporting accuracy across systems.

Infrastructure & Cybersecurity

Support IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, and data storage systems as needed.

Participate in cybersecurity awareness, system documentation, and data backup procedures.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Research and recommend innovative solutions to enhance productivity and scalability.

Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in programming, database management, and IT systems administration.

Qualifications

Proven experience in network, server, and workstation administration.

Strong programming skills in C#, TypeScript, and PowerShell scripting.

Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills

Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V).

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra (Identity & Access Management).

Understanding cybersecurity best practices.
