RAM Enterprise, Inc. is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians
to support ongoing industrial and mining projects based out of
Elko, NV. This is an
hourly, non-exemptposition with travel as required and the potential to convert to long-term, full-time work. The role is focused on safe, high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and support work in active industrial environments.
Employees will be required to operate medium vehicles and must comply with state and federal health and safety regulations, and company policies and procedures.
This position emphasizes
field execution, adherence to safety standards, and coordination with project supervision. Candidates with
basic Electrical, Instrumentation & Fiber Optic Technicianexposure are preferred but not required.
This position will be based out of Elko, NV and is a traveling position with the potential of becoming full-time core position.
- This position requires a commitment to safety as our number one priority, and a strong dedication to producing quality work.
- Perform journeyman-level electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in accordance with NEC, company standards, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Be willing and able to work a variety of schedules on call, including day shift, night shift, weekends, and holidays, and be willing to travel and work out of town when necessary.
- Install and support conduit systems, including
conduit routing supporting fiber optic infrastructure
. Direct fiber termination is not required; however, prior experience supporting or assisting with fiber optic infrastructure installation is desirable.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain motors, control circuits, MCCs, and related electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, specifications, and work packages.
- Coordinate daily work activities with the Electrical Superintendent, Electrical General Foreman, and Project Manager.
- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting schedule expectations.
- Participate in JHAs, toolbox talks, safety audits, and comply with all RAM Enterprise safety policies.
- Maintain clear communication with supervision and project team members.
- Assist with material handling, staging, and documentation as required.
- Valid
Journeyman Electrician license
or equivalent verifiable industrial experience.
- 4+ yearsof experience performing industrial or mining electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC and safe industrial electrical practices.
- Proven ability to work safely in active industrial or mine-site environments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a crew.
- Valid driver’s license required upon hire and as a condition of continued employment.
- Ability to obtain access to regional customer and mine-site properties.
- Ability to safely lift
75 lbs.
and perform physical tasks consistent with industrial field work, using proper lifting techniques.
- Mining or heavy industrial project experience.
- Basic Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)
experience (controls, devices, troubleshooting support).
- Familiarity with MCCs, control panels, and basic process control systems.
- OSHA 10/30 (or ability to obtain).
- MSHA
