INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST for Oil and gas / safety professional

Job Summary

We are seeking a HIGHLY SKILLED oil and gas hygienist / Safety Professional to implement AMINE plant compliance efforts. Compliance / risk management of plant operations for an amine plant. Managing regulatory requirements to maintain the highest standards of occupational health. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of compliance management within the oil and gas industry.

Duties

- Implement IH programs aligned with industry standards and OSHA regulations.

- Oversee compliance management efforts to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

- Lead a team, conduct NORM surveys, noise pollution assessments, environmental assessments, operate the specialized IH equipment needed to bring the plant into compliance, gather needed data / baselines...

- Seek contamination, establish decontamination procedures, waste handling procedures.

- Survey mapping, regulatory record keeping.

- Engineering and administrative controls.

- Requirements

- Certification for NORM surveys, and willingness to attain certification for New Mexico .

- Proven experience in IH management within the oil and gas industry or related field.

- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EHS practices, and compliance management.

- Familiarity with construction site experience, including safety protocols on active construction sites.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Relevant certifications.

- Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
