About Us

Solar Energy Group Hub LLC (Nexgen Roofing & Solar) is a rapidly growing commercial solar developer and installer. We are building a portfolio of 10 commercial rooftop solar projects across Illinois and are looking for experienced Electrician to join our traveling crew.

We provide consistent work, premium pay, and a strong professional environment. You’ll work directly with licensed GCs and solar contractors who know the field.

Position Overview

We are hiring experienced, reliable Solar Electrician who can take the lead on commercial rooftop solar installations. You will travel with our core team while local labor crews are provided at each site.

This role is perfect for someone who wants high pay, steady work, and professional respect from a team that actually knows solar.

- $30–$40/hr depending on experience

Who We’re Looking For

Required:

- 1+ years of solar installation experience (commercial preferred)

- Fall protection and rooftop safety knowledge

- Ability to read layout plans, follow QC standards, and communicate clearly

- Reliable transportation

Bonus Skills (Preferred):

- Wire management, homeruns, and combiner box routing

- Experience supervising local labor crews

- Basic electrical knowledge
