Job Summary

The Clean Energy Intern: HVAC/Mechanical supports our commercial HVAC group with install operations in commercial and industrial settings. This role will collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers to ensure mechanical installations meet the highest industry standards, working in a fast-paced and safety-focused environment.

What You Will Do

- Learn the installation process for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, boilers, and ductwork.

- Help to ensure proper alignment, assembly, and placement of mechanical systems according to project plans.

- Get exposure to installing piping systems, including refrigeration lines, gas piping, and condensate systems.

- Perform start-up testing and commissioning of installed systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to HVAC installations.

- Work closely with engineers and other construction professionals to coordinate project timelines and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

- Adhere to OSHA standards and NOCO safety procedures throughout all stages of the project.

- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining clear communication with clients regarding progress and system functionality
