Overview

F.H. Furr, a renowned leader in residential services, is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals with a knack for mechanics and a passion for helping people. As an HVAC Service Apprentice, you will embark on a journey to learn the ins and outs of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. No prior experience is required, but a strong mechanical inclination and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service are a must. The fully-paid Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Apprentice program begins on January 12th.

Please note: this position will report to our Finksburg, MD location

Key Responsibilities

- Learn and Assist: Work alongside experienced technicians to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential settings

- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner, actively listening to their needs and offering appropriate solutions

- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for additional services or products that can benefit customers

- Problem Solving: Apply creative thinking to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and your team

Qualifications

- Mechanical Inclination: Strong interest and aptitude in mechanical systems and a willingness to learn about HVAC technology

- Customer-Focused: A genuine passion for helping people and a dedication to providing exceptional service

- Sales Enthusiast: Enjoy engaging with customers and identifying opportunities to enhance their HVAC experience

- Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Team Player: Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team

- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role. Company policy requires that all drivers be at least 21 years old
