HVAC Installer

About Us:

Freedom HVAC is a leader in home electrification and renewable energy solutions. As part of our commitment to whole-home electrification, we are expanding our Energy Services team to include high-efficiency and standard HVAC systems. We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our growing team and install high-quality HVAC systems, including heat pumps, in residential properties.

Position Overview:

As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of HVAC systems, with a focus on heat pumps and hybrid solutions. You will work closely with our project management and service teams to ensure efficient and high-quality installations, contributing to our mission of providing sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install HVAC systems, including heat pump and furnace systems, in residential properties.

- Follow installation guidelines and specifications to ensure proper system operation.

- Measure, cut, and install ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical wiring.

- Connect HVAC units to ductwork, electrical power, and refrigerant lines.

- Test installed systems for proper operation and identify any issues.

- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.

- Maintain accurate records of installations and materials used.

- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Communicate professionally with homeowners on the job site.

Qualifications:

- EPA Section 608 Certification

- Experience in HVAC installation.

- Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation procedures.

- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.

- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
