Experienced Residential HVAC Installer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience in installation and maintenance. This role involves working on various HVAC projects, ensuring systems are installed correctly and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial settings.

- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of HVAC systems.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.

- Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.

- Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations during installation processes.

- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.

- Conduct field service visits to assess system performance and make necessary adjustments.

- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment repairs.

Experience

- Proven experience in HVAC installation or as a service technician is preferred.

- Familiarity with HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems is essential.

- Experience in construction or property maintenance is a plus.

- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is advantageous.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
