The HR Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources department by managing administrative tasks, coordinating employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting a positive workplace culture.
- HR Administrative Support:
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Culture & Engagement Support:
- Assist with planning and executing culture-building initiatives, including employee events, celebrations, and wellness activities.
- Coordinate logistics for meals, supplies, and other event-related needs.
- Uniform Management:
- Maintain inventory of company issued work shirts.
- Coordinate distribution and ordering of items as needed.
- Training & Compliance:
- Manage and track Statements of Training in Paycom.
- Ensure training documentation is complete and compliant with company policies.
- Cross-Functional Support:
- Serve as a backup for Talent Acquisition, assisting with candidate communication, interview scheduling, and onboarding tasks.
- Provide coverage for Reception as needed, including greeting visitors and answering phones.
- Additional Duties:
- Support HR team with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and compliant workplace environment.
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems; experience with Paycom is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
