We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various administrative and operational tasks. - Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Support employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization
- Facilitate employee evaluation processes and performance management initiatives
- Manage benefits administration and assist employees with inquiries regarding their benefits
- Maintain accurate HRIS records, including data entry and data collection for reporting purposes
- Collaborate on projects related to change management, strategic planning, and organization design
- Provide support in employee relations matters, including conflict management and workers' compensation claims
- Assist with training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and other relevant laws
- Utilize various HR software tools such as Workday, Paychex, Dayforce, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, iCIMS, and others for efficient HR operations
- Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles is preferred
- Strong knowledge of human capital management principles and employment & labor law
- Familiarity with talent acquisition strategies and employee relations practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in project management techniques and workforce management strategies
- Experience with HRIS systems; familiarity with tools such as Lever, Kronos, UltiPro, Paylocity, Ceridian is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective data entry and record maintenance
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently
