We are looking for a bilingual HR Assistant (English + Mandarin) to support the Human Resources department with daily operations, recruitment coordination, and onboarding activities. This role will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth HR processes and a positive employee experience.
- Assist with resume screening, candidate shortlisting, and interview scheduling
- Coordinate interview logistics, including invitations, meeting room/virtual setup, and candidate communications
- Support new hire onboarding, including training coordination, document collection, and first-day logistics
- Prepare and organize employment offers, contracts, and related HR documentation
- Maintain accurate personnel files and HR records, ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Liaise with payroll and operations teams to support smooth transitions for new hires
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including correspondence, reporting, and record keeping
- Assist in planning and coordinating HR-related activities and events
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (required)
- Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Human Resources or a related field (experience not required if credentialed)
- 0–2 years of HR or administrative support experience
- Strong organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS/ATS systems is an asset
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
