Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore energy industry. Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position.
This is a paid Summer Internship Program (early June to early August).
As an intern with our HSSE group, you’ll assist with the following:
- Assist HSSE staff in conducting routine safety inspections and identifying workplace and process hazards.
- Assist HSSE staff in maintaining data and entries in various HSE software platforms, including safety procedures, hazard reports, and Safety Data Sheets.
- Assist HSSE staff reviewing and auditing facility procedures such as lock out/tag out procedures.
Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You’ll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.

- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Safety, Environmental, Industrial, Construction or related field at an accredited University.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, using Excel to enter and sort data.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- No relocation or housing assistance is being offered.
This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
