Human Resources Leader


Overview

Ace Resources is seeking a people-first, operationally savvy Human Resources Leader to join our clients’ leadership team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the HR vision of a high-performing oil and gas services company that prioritizes culture, compliance, and employee development.

The HR Leader will oversee all aspects of the human resources function, including talent strategy, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development. This individual will play a hands-on role in building a values-driven, performance-focused culture while empowering employees to grow both professionally and personally.

Key Responsibilities


· HR Strategy & Leadership

· Align HR initiatives with business goals and operational needs

· Develop and implement policies, programs, and practices that support scalable growth

· Act as a thought partner to leadership, contributing to long-term people and culture strategies


· Culture & Engagement

· Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and trust

· Promote a supportive environment that values feedback, transparency, and recognition

· Serve as a cultural ambassador and advocate for both field and office personnel


· Talent Development & Empowerment

· Design and execute programs that promote career growth, mentorship, and professional development

· Build tools and frameworks that empower managers to lead and coach their teams effectively

· Identify high-potential talent and create succession pathways


· Compliance & Risk Mitigation

· Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety regulations, and company policies

· Manage risk by proactively resolving workplace issues and standardizing HR procedures

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, audits, and documentation


· Recruitment & Retention

· Lead recruitment efforts and ensure a seamless onboarding experience

· Establish retention strategies that reinforce employee satisfaction and performance

· Collaborate with hiring managers to fill roles efficiently with high-quality candidates


· Field-Based HR Support

· Serve as a reliable resource for field leadership and remote employees

· Travel regionally as needed to support HR functions across multi-site operations

· Partner with safety and operations teams to reinforce alignment between HR and frontline execution

Preferred Experience

· 5–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role

· Experience in oilfield services, logistics, or other labor-intensive industries strongly preferred

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree a plus

· Professional certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred

· Familiarity with Paycom or other HRIS systems, and proficiency in Microsoft 365

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
