About the Position
Our HR Team, based in Georgetown, is looking to add an HR Assistant who has a very high degree of structure and skill. The ideal candidate will approach their assignments with a strong drive to master and complete. The ideal candidate will also respond positively to unpredictable situations or problems that can occur throughout their work responsibilities. This position requires some predictability and consistency where tasks are done in an orderly and systematic way, with a strong attention to detail and specifics. This position will be in-office with other HR Team members, Monday – Friday.

What are the key responsibilities?
•Manage and update the monthly HR task log to ensure team members are completing tasks and projects accordingly.
•Aid in responding to employee questions related to benefits or payroll.
•Assist with new hire onboarding, when needed.
•Upload and track bi-weekly overtime reports.
•Manage and update the ACA Filing Dashboard in the Paycom system.
•Run annual MVR batching, to include maintaining reporting and documentation.
•Assist with Wellness program initiatives including scheduling webinars, in-person luncheons, and awarding Wellness program points.
•Assist with distribution and tracking of Company Credit Cards.
•Review and approve reimbursement programs for employees.
•Handle WOTC tracking, to include submission and documentation upload.
•Process employee changes including addresses, phone numbers, beneficiaries, qualifying events, etc.
•May assist with recruitment initiatives such as creating offers, running backgrounds, checking references, and/or setting up interviews.
•Support safety initiatives, to include Weekly Safety Briefing tracking, Forklift initial and re-certification,
•Assist with execution of Cybersecurity Training and follow-up with past due employees.
•Execute annual compliance reporting needs and upload documentation accordingly.
•Own the tracking and uploading of all employee documents in HRIS platform.
•Assist with open enrollment prep, annual compensation and performance review prep, and EOY changes.
Qualifications:
•Prior HR experience required.
•HRIS experience preferred; Paycom a strong plus.
•Smartsheet experience a strong plus.
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel reporting features, and other Microsoft Office Suite products.
•Must have a Valid Drivers’ License – occasional travel to other office locations.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
