We're hiring for an HR Advisor, Compensation & Analytics with a keen eye for detail and a knack for analyzing large data sets to uncover discrepancies and drive strategic decisions. Reporting to the Lead of Compensation, you will participate in the design and delivery on a range of compensation programs and policies.
•Job location: Calgary, Alberta
•Shift schedule: 5 x 2, Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day
•Safety sensitive position: No

Please note, this is a temporary, 18-month contract position.
Key Accountabilities
•Support the planning and execution of the annual compensation cycles, including salary and bonus programs
•Provide input to industry surveys, data analysis and interpretation of results
•Develop complex costing models using Microsoft Excel to assist in making recommendations for compensation programs
•Work closely with HR Systems & Solutions to ensure accurate data and system readiness for annual compensation programs
•Participate in compensation and related process and program reviews and recommend changes to support operational and program efficiencies
•Prepare reports and analysis to review compensation issues by extracting and manipulating data as necessary from Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM)
What you Bring to the Role:
•Minimum 5 years of HR experience working in Oracle HCM or comparable Human Capital Management system
•Must have advanced to expert level Microsoft Excel skills and be comfortable creating complex multiple criteria SUMPRODUCT, SUMIF and Index match formulas
•Understand HR operations and familiar with HR employee data
•Experience compiling and analyzing large datasets
•Direct compensation experience, developing pay structures and/or statistical knowledge would be considered an asset
•High personal integrity and ethics with the ability to earn trust and cooperation of others, including the ability to maintain good working relationships with Management and employees at all levels in the organization
