HSE Training Support Coordinator – Contract Position

TENG Inc. is a fast growing, medium-size engineering consultant company providing engineering and project management services to multiple industry sectors. We have an opening for a HSE Training Support Coordinator for a long-term contract. This position will be report into our Head Office in Mississauga, Ontario however you will be seconded to client site. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years work experience in Health and Safety role.

The successful candidate’s roles and responsibilities will include:

· Lead HSE zoom online training twice weekly for sub-contractors working in construction/maintenance.

· The online orientation involves delivering a power point presentation, highlighting Client’s Life Saving Rules, Covid-19 practices, review of the HSE management system and contractor requirements, overview of the permit to work system and the emergency response system.

· Documentation of contractor data must be transferred from the LearnUpon database to the HSE contractor spreadsheet and classified depending on certain criteria. This will involve checking worker certificate uploads for accuracy and communicating to contractors any missing and/or inaccurate information that needs to be corrected.

· Responsible for ensuring contractors are classified for required online training or assessed to simply receive a validation sticker if they are working strictly in the office.

· Other HSE administrative tasks may be requested as needed to support the HSE department.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
