GIS Data Analyst

About the role:

We are looking for a GIS Data Analyst / Mapping Specialist to support a high-performing team responsible for data analysis, reporting, and geospatial mapping within a utility environment. This position is available in Minneapolis, MN, Eau Claire, WI, or Denver, CO and follows a hybrid schedule. You will work with enterprise GIS and data platforms, including Esri tools, to extract, analyze, and visualize complex data for team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Extract, analyze, and report on data for internal business teams

- Create interactive maps and visualizations using Esri / ArcGIS tools

- Perform data analysis using tools such as Databricks and Python

- Support regulatory data requests and reporting needs

- Manage and complete assigned work through JIRA task boards

- Ensure accuracy and quality in all data outputs and reporting

- Collaborate with team members to solve complex data and mapping challenges

- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency

Qualifications:

- 3+ years experience with Esri / ArcGIS GIS platforms

- Data extraction, reporting, and analysis experience

- Experience using Python for data or GIS tasks

- Familiarity with Databricks or similar data platforms

- Experience with GE Smallworld
