This role also supports subsurface characterization and development within the Permian Basin by integrating seismic, well, and geological data to drive exploration and development decisions.

- Seismic Data Interpretation: Independently interpret seismic data (2D/3D) to identify fault systems, stratigraphic traps, and reservoir targets; generate and utilize seismic attributes where appropriate

- Data Integration: Analyze and integrate geological and geophysical data (seismic, well logs, cores) to build consistent subsurface interpretations and support geomodeling workflows

- Well Logs and Core Data: Apply understanding of well logs and core data to define lithology, porosity, permeability, and fluid content, and integrate with seismic interpretation

- Geologic & Velocity Modeling: Assist in development of geological models, including time-depth conversion and velocity frameworks

- Well Planning & Drilling Support: Support well planning, including target definition and depth uncertainty; participate in drilling operations, log evaluation, and post-well analysis

- Project Leadership: Manage small technical projects and coordinate with geology, reservoir engineering, petrophysics, geomechanics, and operations teams

- Prospect Identification: Support identification and evaluation of exploration, development, and recompletion opportunities

- Geoscience Software: Apply advanced features of software such as Petrel and utilize tools like GeoX/Rose RA and Paleoscan

- Data Quality & Seismic Improvement: Evaluate seismic data quality and support reprocessing or acquisition efforts
