The GAG/SAW Operator shall operate and assist in the functions of Gag and saw Machine in accordance with plant policies and procedures. He/she will ensure a safe and compliant operation during his/her shift.

- Provide and assist with good maintenance on the equipment he is operating.
- Employee must maintain good housekeeping ethics. Work areas must be free and clear of debris.
- Assist in the verification and recording of production and findings in the ERP System and/or required documents.
- Installs specified drift mandrel in machine, using hand tools, and inserts pipe into head of machine.
- Full length each tested joint and properly mark joints by using appropriate bands on the joints that are no complaints.
- Check that all machinery is properly serviced before starting up.
- Assists in repair and replacement of equipment during maintenance shutdowns.
- Communicate with crew to achieve a quality product.
- Assist in the charging and discharging of material on these racks.
- The employee is responsible in assisting with documentation and/or technical devices for recording production and findings.
- Communicating with the supervisor any problems with material and equipment.
- Verify the paperwork to perform the job according to the requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Years of Experience:
- At least 1 years’ experience on the job training is preferred but not required.
- Job Knowledge:
- At least Knowledge and experience within the OCTG pipe inspection industry is preferable but not required.
- Ability to organize vast amounts of data and multi-task several priorities with excellent time management.
- Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.

- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
- Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted on site.

- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
- The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds.
- The ability to work in loud, hot environments/extreme weather while wearing required PPE.
- Ability to see 20-20 when corrected.
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
