Responsible for examining product for quality and defects. Additionally, the Fixture/Inspector/Packer is responsible for the cleaning and fixturing of parts for production.
· Unpacks and examines materials supplied by customers before sending them to production.
· Thoroughly cleans incoming product and ensures product is properly fixtured for processing in the coating machines.
· Performs a quick visual inspection of finished goods to ensure quality after they are completed including components, subassemblies and assemblies.
· Ensures finished goods are packed safely and in accordance with customer requirements.
- Ensures company is meeting the standard codes in the manufacturing process.
- Properly documents pass/fail grade of products.
- Assists with other projects, as needed, performs other duties as assigned.
- Follows the code of conduct and policies defined in the employee handbook.
The physical demands described below must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
· Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
· Will be required to talk, hear, and see. Vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to differentiate between colors.
· Occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 lbs.
· Must be able to stand 6-10 hours a day
· This position is in a manufacturing setting.
· Indoor work which may not be temperature controlled.
· Exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
