Are you passionate about designing systems that protect lives and property? Join our team as a Fire Protection Engineer and help shape safe, innovative environments across industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.
- Design and specify fire protection systems: sprinklers, alarms, clean agents, smoke control.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and fire modeling to support design.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, ICC, FM Global, and local codes.
- Conduct fire hazard analyses and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate fire safety into building plans.
- Support construction phases through site inspections, submittal reviews, and commissioning.
- Prepare technical reports and code compliance documentation.
- Participate in fire investigations and forensic engineering when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- PE license in Fire Protection (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
- 5–10 years of experience in fire protection design and consulting.
- Proficiency in Revit and fire modeling tools (e.g., FDS).
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards (NFPA 13, 72, 101).
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Travel to project sites for inspections and meetings.
- Comfortable working in industrial/commercial settings, including elevated platforms and confined spaces.
