We are looking for a Financial Project Analys Manager to oversee the comprehensive financial and operational reconciliation process for processed goods sales. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate application of commercial terms, validating project data, and delivering precise settlement reporting. The Manager will lead and develop a team, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and drive improvements across the settlement lifecycle.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, including performance management and workload planning.
- Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert on settlement methodologies, data structures, and contract interpretation.
- Establish clear processes, quality standards, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Provide ongoing coaching, cross-training, and skill development to support team growth.
- Partner closely with finance, commercial, operations, and data teams to validate information and resolve discrepancies.
- Engage with customers, buyers, and third parties to address complex settlement questions.
- Support leadership with forecasting insights, contract evaluations, and margin optimization analysis.
- Review and approve final settlement packages, including invoices and related documentation.
- Ensure proper allocation and reporting of processed goods sales in accordance with contract terms and internal policies.
- Lead reconciliation of expected versus actual results and ensure clear variance analysis.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, audit trails, and historical references.
- Validate detailed project inputs, including weights, specifications, recoveries, and shipment data.
- Apply commercial terms to determine payable quantities, deductions, shared revenues, and financial outcomes.
- Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, coordinate corrective action, and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Utilize NetSuite for financial data management and ensure accurate accounting integration.
- Drive enhancements to tools, processes, and reporting workflows to increase transparency and efficiency.
- Develop dashboards, analytics, and visual reporting using Power BI.
- Produce settlement trend reports, metrics, and insights for leadership review.
- Champion automation and standardization initiatives that elevate the settlements function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in settlements, financial analysis, contract application, or similarly detailed analytical work.- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, Power Query, pivot tables, modeling, data transformation) are required.
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities with a high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop employees.
