As a Financial Analyst (I/II/III), you will support financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting through analysis of actual and forecasted results. This role contributes to monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts; performs economic, cost, and operational analyses; and builds financial models to support business planning. At the Financial Analyst I level, the role also supports the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment—including Oracle Financials, PowerPlant, and related applications—by assisting with system maintenance, enhancements, and reporting. Across all levels, you will partner closely with the business to understand forecast drivers, evaluate performance, and deliver data‑driven insights that inform current and future decisions.
This newly created Financial Planning & Analysis team supports multiple functions under one center led structure. Financial Analyst III
Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Prepares reports, forecasts, presentations and other analyses as the need arises
- Nurtures relationships with company partners
- Identifies, researches and recommends solutions, including process improvement initiatives
- Coordinates and understands forecast components and performs/documents financial analysis to validate forecast data
- Communicates details assumptions and explains variances
- Analyzes and explains financial results compared to forecast
- Coordinates annual strategic and vision planning activities, including operating and capital plan forecasting
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field and minimum four (4) years’ related experience in financial analysis
- Preferred: Master’s degree or CPA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Previous experience collaborating with senior leadership and reporting financial analysis
Financial Analyst II
Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Prepares reports, analyzes and presents data related to financial forecast as need arises
- Coordinates and understands forecast components and performs/documents financial analysis to validate forecast data
- Communicates detail assumptions and explains variances; provides analysis and explains results compared to forecast
- Coordinates annual strategic and vision planning activities, including operating and capital plan forecasting

- Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field and minimum two (2) years’ related experience in financial analysis and forecasting
- Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration

- Knowledge of Hyperion tools including Essbase and Smartview

Financial Analyst I
Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Maintains current and long-range plans for ERP; ensures a common, non-customized, efficient use of the ERP
- Supports application security strategy, roles/responsibilities, and security governance processes and standards to meet both FERC and SOX requirements
- Understands and maintains complete functional knowledge of the ERP modules and processes
- Supports projects to implement new or system improvements, including system upgrades
- Collaborates with end-users to comprehend business requirements and meet business needs
- Supports a training program for end-users of the ERP system
- Communicates planned and completed changes, improvements, and other meaningful information about the system to end-users; supports personnel and various levels of management

- Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
- Preferred: Minimum one (1) years’ related experience; CPA or PMP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills

- Preferred: Knowledge of accounting systems, understanding of how ERP Financial Systems are used
, Responsible for contributing to financial analytic efforts by analyzing business cases and related financial models pertaining to major capital projects, supporting the annual capital budgeting process and strategic efforts, performing financial and strategic analysis, and researching as well as preparing studies and reports, analyses, and or recommendation in areas such as capital budgeting, financial forecasting, monthly activities, depreciation methods, and accounting for capital investments. Works under limited supervision performing a wide spectrum of moderately difficult assignments requiring alternative analysis, innovation and judgment.
