Position Description:

We are seeking a motivated  Field Technician I / IT Support Specialist

 to provide high-quality technical support for end users in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment. This role is ideal for IT professionals who enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting mission-critical systems.

The Field Technician I will serve as a first point of contact for technical issues, providing support via phone, email, and remote tools. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues while ensuring timely resolution and a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide Tier 1 IT support to local and remote users via phone and email

- Log, track, and resolve incidents using a ticketing system while meeting SLAs

- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 systems, Microsoft Office 365, and Outlook

- Support desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, and mobile devices (Android & iOS)

- Configure and troubleshoot Mac desktops and laptops

- Assist users with remote access issues using tools such as Citrix and VPN (Zscaler)

- Perform basic Active Directory tasks including user creation, password resets, and access management

- Diagnose and resolve basic networking, wireless, and connectivity issues

- Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume support environment

Required Skills / Education:

- IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience

- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365

- Experience providing phone-based support to local and remote users

- Familiarity with ticketing systems and SLA-driven environments

- Basic understanding of Active Directory administration

- Experience troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices

- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, VPNs, and remote desktop tools

- Exposure to Citrix, Zscaler, and Mac OS is a plus

- High School Diploma or GED required
