Based out of Fort St. John, British Columbia
Compass Access Solutions Ltd. is currently accepting applications for a full-time, permanent Field Sales Representative local to the Fort St. John, British Columbia area. As a Field Sales Representative you will exercise strategic, independent judgment in the pursuits of business opportunities and match company capability to customer needs while targeting opportunities with decision makers. Reporting to the President you will partner with the Sales Team to enhance opportunities and work with current and former customers. You will be the key customer contact responsible for the promotion of the company’s products.
· You will be the main point-of-contact for our customers for service and products
· You will ensure rental contracts and tickets are signed in a timely manner
· You will travel as required to meet with customers and facilitate sales
· You will communicate to customers extensive knowledge of products and services
· You will use market and product knowledge and analytical skills to qualify prospects, source new leads and qualify opportunities within named accounts
· You will build strong customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction by visiting account locations on a regular basis
· You will work closely with existing and new customer accounts
· You will be responsible at times for visiting customer sites on project start-up or within 48 hours after product delivery
· You will obtain signatures on all outstanding rental agreements and tickets from customer representatives
· You are expected to attend the weekly sales meeting to provide information and updates to the Sales Team
· You must follow Compass Policies and Procedures, adhering to all established safety standards
· A minimum of five years outside field sales experience, with preference given to individuals with matting/construction knowledge
· Current certification in the required safety courses and related oilfield tickets
· The ability to nurture solid relationships with key customers and Compass team members
· Be flexible with time scheduling to meet customer needs
· Have strong oral, written and presentation skills to give presentations to new and existing customers
· Comfortable working in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
· A post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset
