Field and Warehouse Technician

About the Role:

Smart Wave is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to take on a hybrid role that blends hands-on fieldwork with essential warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, being part of a fun and supportive team, and contributing to the renewable energy movement. What You’ll Do:

In the Field *

Conduct site surveys at customer homes (photographing roofs, electrical panels, attics, etc.)

Attend city inspections to support solar installation sign-offs

Troubleshoot solar systems and coordinate with installers, electricians, and office staff to resolve issues

Set up solar system monitoring on customer WiFi (training provided)

Drive between job sites—catch up on podcasts or enjoy your favorite tunes while on the road

In the Warehouse

Accurately count and manage inventory

Clean, organize, and maintain a tidy warehouse environment

Check equipment and materials in/out

Work outdoors and in non-climate-controlled conditions
