Evening Surveillance Personnel

POSITION BACKGROUND:

The Evening Surveillance Personnel is responsible for the maintenance of the local Company’s yards and buildings, this position is vital to maintaining the safety of all the Company’s equipment and buildings.

CORE DUTIES:

Night Maintenance Personnel

- Provide ongoing maintenance to the Company’s yards and buildings

- Log after-hours visitors

- Provide access to employees when needed

- Provide and authorize entrance and departure of employees

- Communicate with the Company’s ‘Call Centre’ at the prescribed frequency to update status of shift work

- Provide continual maintenance to prevent hazards and mitigate damages to buildings and yard

- Provide a visible presence that provides a safe work environment to the Company’s employees

- Prepare written reports of daily activities, observations, Maintenance issues and incidents

Other Duties

- Successfully complete safety training as required on an ongoing basis

- Observe all safety procedures and use proper Personal Protective Equipment

- Ensure that all of the Company’s policies and Occupational Health and Safety regulations are followed

- Represent the Company in a light that is commensurate with the values of Management and the Corporate Vision and Mission Statements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Required

- Able to pass a Criminal Record Check

- Minimum 2 years of experience

- High School diploma

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and clean driver’s abstract

- Ability to deal with the public in a positive, courteous, and respectful manner

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail

- Ability to work independent
