Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual to fill a
Night Shift Equipment Operatorposition at the Gallatin Quarry, located in
Gallatin , TN .This individual will be part of the development crew. If hired before April 2026, they will work at the Reostone Quarry until the development team moves to the Gallatin quarry in April.
The successful candidate for this role will have experience operating mining equipment in an underground mining environment, and an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. In addition to operating equipment, this individual may be required to work with the blasting process or on the ground maintaining safety items and keeping the mine well ventilated. General work around the quarry and other assigned duties may also be required.

- Night Shift- Ability to work weekends, and/or days as needed
- Gallatin Quarry - Rogers Group Inc – Gallatin, TN (will work at the Reostone Quarry if hired before April 2026)
- Wages starting at $30.00/hr.
- Operate the following equipment at a minimum: bolter, drill, blasting rig, scalers, manlift, telehandler, Loaders, haul trucks, shotcrete pumps, water truck.
- Operating a face drill and/or roof bolter in an underground hard rock mine.
- Operating a wheel loader in a confined space to muck headings and load haul trucks.
- Running a scaler or an excavator with scaler attachment to scale rock from mine walls.
- Work with explosives and the blasting process to facilitate production.
- Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
- At least one-year of proficient experience operating underground mining equipment – such as a face drill, scaler, roof bolter, or loader – is preferred.
- Willing to work in an underground mining environment.
- Willing to work with explosives and the blasting process – valid TN Explosive Handlers Card or Blasting Permit – or ability to obtain/renew those permits.
- Able to operate underground mining equipment with precision and excellence in a confined space.
- Ability to pick up on new tasks quickly.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Must be able to work underground and outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
- Self-motivated - able to work without requiring close supervision.
- Must pass pre-employment drug-screening.
- Shotcrete application
