This role is hybrid, 3 days a week in office in Mequon, WI or Cleveland, OH.
POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:
Enhance Customer Experience through hardware and software delivery by performing analysis, design, development, testing, training, implementation and support through all stages of product lifecycle for the end user computing environment. Design, manage and maintain a desktop computer experience that will deliver an exceptional end-user experience that is stable, safe, and current.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:•Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Business, or related field equivalent combination of education and experience
•Three plus years’ experience in Information Technology or related experience
•Prior experience participating in a team environment
•Proficiency in communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
•Experience in supporting end user computing environments, maintenance and support
•Experience in designing, deploying and maintaining desktop computer infrastructure
•Experience with desktop automation including software deployments, imaging and patching
•Ability to build relationships and provide solid customer service across both functional and technical areas of the business
•Ability to be on-call to support a manufacturing environment that operates 24 X 7
•Capability to travel, as project load requires
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience with computer image development in a Windows environment
•Strong familiarity in software packaging automation and maintenance using industry tools like Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, BMC Configuration Manager, etc
•Experience with operating systems imaging, patching and control in a MS Windows environment
•Experience with the identification, research, development, and deployment of new end user technologies
•Experience guiding IT project teams and work groups
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Maintain, implement, test, and deploy images and packages to users as well as maintain the packages for these images
•Create and design new future processes around software delivery including new technologies as well as standardize the current process
•Serve as escalation point for break fix issues and support continuous improvement of break-fix solutions to prevent the issues from occurring in the future
•Perform updates and maintenance activities including patching as well as troubleshoot system issues
•Work with the security team to minimize and eliminate vulnerabilities on end user hardware and software as well as propose solutions to improve this process
•Create and manage scripts to automate processes and functions
•Lead Continuous Improvement projects to improve the customer experience of end user hardware and software
•Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements
