Dispatcher - Hydrovac & Combo Vac Trucks

We are a locally owned and operated Hydrovac and Combo Vac company that works across western Canada.

We are currently seeking an ambitious, multi-faceted, well-rounded and organized individual for the position of Dispatcher to join our team in Grande Prairie.

Roles and Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

-Dispatching drivers and managing scheduling & logistics as needed with the necessary permits and directions

-provide ongoing support and assistance to drivers from start of job to finish

-Receive calls from customers and field operation personnel

-Monitoring road conditions, bans, construction zones and accidents to revise routes as needed

-Manage drivers’ hours of service to ensure compliance with NSC regulations

-Maintaining accurate and timely data information in company’s custom dispatch and quoting platform

-Ensure crews have the correct equipment, safety tickets, and resources to carry out the task assigned in an efficient manner while meeting our customers’ needs through superior customer service

-maintain employees days off schedule, ensuring there are enough operators and swampers available at all times.

-Complete dispatch-related administrative work as required including but not limited to following up on issues with work orders, validating timesheets and overtime to submit to accounts receivable for processing.

Skills and Qualifications

-Dispatching: 2 years (preferred)

-Oilfield Services: 2 years (preferred)

-Experience with AXON Software would be an asset

-Knowledge of Highway traffic laws and regulations

-Knowledge of the National Safety Code

-Highly organized with strong attention to detail

-Strong communication skills both written and verbal

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while still providing excellent customer service

-Must be available 24/7 when on call

-Must physically live in Grande Prairie, AB

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
