PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBITIES:

- Plan and coordinate transportation routes for efficient delivery of goods

- Manage transportation operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

- Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings

- Type and maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving information

- Utilize GPS systems to track and monitor delivery vehicles

- Collaborate with logistics providers (3PL) to optimize supply chain operations

- Dispatch drivers and communicate delivery instructions effectively

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Strong transportation planning and management skills

- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

- Proficient typing skills for accurate record keeping

- Familiarity with GPS systems for tracking and monitoring vehicles

- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes

- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations

- Excellent communication skills for effective dispatching
