What You'll Do
We are seeking a strategic and people-oriented Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department and drive initiatives that align with our company's goals. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR best practices are implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
•Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
•Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and compliant work environment.
•Oversee compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
•Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and HR policies.
•Develop and oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership growth.
•Foster a diverse, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
•Collaborate with leadership to drive organizational change and workforce planning.
•Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to leadership for continuous improvement.
•Lead and mentor the HR team, ensuring professional development and alignment with business needs.
What You Bring (Your Skills & Experience)
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
•7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
•Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
•Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
•Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
•HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Strategic thinker with a tactical mindset. You can see the big picture and also execute the details.
•Results-driven. You measure success in revenue, not activity.
•Strong communicator and team player. Sales and marketing must be aligned, and you'll play a key role in making that happen
•Thick-skinned and relentless. If you need a lot of hand-holding or get discouraged easily, this isn't the right fit.
