About The Role

Base is looking for a Deployment Engineer to architect the process for rapid deployments of hardware throughout the state of Texas. This pivotal role is focused on ensuring a positive customer experience and increased uptime of battery systems.

What You'll Do

- Build internal systems and operational procedures to deploy thousands of batteries to optimize partnership scalability.

- Develop procedures for training 3rd party contractors, and comprehensive documentation to standardize operations.

- Set up systems to collect data that will drive continuous process improvements and system changes.

- Owns process of expanding partnership operations in new communities across Texas metros.

- Troubleshoot and triage operational problems, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.

- Development and implementation of operational improvements, pipeline, automations, building systems for scalability.

- Work cross functionally within Base to enhance partnership operations

- Participate in a rotation on-call schedule for managing the fleet.

What You'll Bring

- 2+ years of experience as a hands-on Mechanical/Manufacturing/Electrical/Industrial Engineer working on mechanical and/or electromechanical systems.

- Experience developing processes and procedures for field work/manufacturing.

- Experience working with and managing vendors and subcontractors.

- Degree in Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.

- Experience in operations.
