We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial
operations and support strategic decision-making as we scale.
Position Summary:
As Controller, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s
financial management, including accounting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
This roll reports directly to the company owners and plays a critical role in guiding our
financial strategy and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including billing, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
•Prepare timely and accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
•Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts
•Coordinate with external accountants for tax purposes
•Optimize internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets
•Support strategic planning and decision-making with financial insights
•Cash flow management, monitoring cash balances and ensuring sufficient funds for operations
•Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
•May include HR, IT and other operational tasks
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
•Accounting/finance experience
•Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
•Strong attention to detail and analytical, problem-solving skills
•Excellent communication and organizational abilities
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
